Today there are many CPA (cost-per-action) affiliate networks which pay webmasters for advertising offers on their websites. They pay you each time they get a lead or a sale to their advertisers. The trouble with these networks is that the CTR (click through ratio) to their offers is very low and you end up earning very little. Most of them don’t let us incentivize their offers and the ones that do only have a few free offers each and the rest are all sales offers. One can’t make the members buy something they don’t want to buy, even if you pay them. As a result, your members just take a few free offers and that’s it. Another important issue is that all these networks have your earning stats delayed and they all pay on the Net30 or Net45 basis. This means that they send you a check after 30 or 45 days after the end of the month and if you live outside US, your check may take up to 2 weeks to arrive, or it can just get lost on the way. We’ve experienced all of the above mentioned problems with several affiliate networks before.
